Beautique is a luxurious and unique beauty retailer that specialises in sourcing the best and most coveted brands. We pride ourselves in being more than a retailer, we are an education, and with our roots firmly born out of salons you can rest assured that we have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Beautique first came to fruition in 2005 with a quarterly magazine which offered informed views and opinions about the best in beauty. Upon its launch it won the coveted Cover of the Year Award at the Magazine Design Awards and was also shortlisted to win the Magazine Launch of the Year Award but lost to the formidable Grazia. Beautique soon moved away from print media and became an online entity, expanding our level of communication and interaction.
Our heritage lies in hair and beauty salons; namely Urban Retreat, and this allows us to stand out as our knowledge comes from trusted experts and brings us closer to customer desires. Urban Retreat has two core locations; our flagship is situated on the fifth floor of Harrods, equalling over 20,000 square feet. The other is located in Harvey Nichols in Manchester. There is also a diffusion arm called UR Beautiful based within Boots in Kingston upon Thames.
Beautique differs from other online retailers because not only do we endeavour to sell the best products; but we also do our research and actively communicate with some of the beauty world’s leading specialists to make sure we are always ahead of the game in trends and knowledge.
